Recognizing that parents are the first and primary teachers of faith for their children, our parishes offer religious education to help parents in the passing on of our Catholic faith.  Our parish programs use series of religious teaching materials accepted by the Catholic Church and guided by The Catechism of the Catholic Church.  Our parish schools of religion exist to be an aid to parents in teaching their children about our Catholic Christian faith and expose the children to Sacred Scripture and various forms of prayer.  The parish schools of religion also exist to guide and inspire children to live and practice their Catholic Christian faith in their daily lives, develop a strong moral conscience and to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.
